GEORGE NEWS - Three men were shot dead in Nelson Mandela Boulevard in Zone 8, Thembalethu, last night, Wednesday 2 October at about 19:50.
Police found the bodies of the men, aged 32, 38 and 41, with various gunshot wounds. They were declared dead on the scene.
"Crime scene experts combed the scene for clues in a bid to uncover what had transpired," said Western Cape police spokesperson Colonel Andrè Traut.
Traut did not confirm whether the incident was related to extortion activities in the area and said that the motive still has to be confirmed. "The motive for the killings is yet to be established and the suspects are yet to be arrested," he said.
