GEORGE NEWS - Rebounding is the new buzzword in physical training. Dubbed the "wolf in sheep's clothing" of the exercise world, it is a type of low impact aerobic exercise that is performed while bouncing on a rebounder (mini trampoline). Rebounding classes can now be done at the newly launched iBounce Studio in York Street.
Research has shown that the mild but continuous G-force created by the bouncing movement offers benefits that extend way beyond exercise.
Rebounding not only tones and slims, but makes every cell in the body stronger, healthier and happier.
Aside from amazing health benefits, rebounding also assists in weight loss, improved circulation, a strengthened core, improved balance, improved digestion and elimination - and it makes you happy!
It is the long-term solution for all ages. It requires no skill, is gentle on the joints, causes no harm or stress to the body, and leaves one feeling great in every possible way.
Bouncing can be done fast or slow, with increased or decreased intensity. Sessions are done to music and last 40 to 45 minutes. Rebounding is suitable for all ages and all levels of health. More importantly, it is great fun.
iBounce has two certified ReboundSA instructors, Cheryl Jobe and Simon Bechus. Cheryl has been rebounding for over 20 years and has experienced first-hand the life-enhancing benefits that rebounding offers. Simon is a committed fitness fanatic who loves kickboxing and Muay Thai.
