This general medical practice was founded by Dr Ethan Chellan and Dr Claudia Lakay and is dedicated to delivering exceptional care that combines expertise with a personal touch. The founders
Dr Chellan was born and raised in the close-knit Boland community of Tulbagh, where his medical philosophy is deeply rooted in the small-town values instilled during his formative years.

He graduated from Stellenbosch University, completed community service at All Saints Hospital in Engcobo, and gained extensive experience in paediatrics and child health at Frere Tertiary Hospital. He holds postgraduate diplomas in Child Health and HIV Management from the Colleges of Medicine of South Africa. Dr Chellan combines traditional care with modern healthcare possibilities as a licensed dispensing general practitioner, ensuring comprehensive yet feasible care for his patients.

Dr Lakay is a dedicated healthcare professional who matriculated from Worcester Gymnasium and went on to study medicine at Stellenbosch University.

She completed community service in Tsolo, a rural town in the Eastern Cape, where her foundation in primary healthcare was laid, as she could practise medicine in its purest form by providing care with limited resources.

She transitioned to private practice in East London and gained experience from two of the most prominent general medical practices. Dr Lakay is committed to delivering comprehensive, high-quality care that addresses each patient's unique health needs, ensuring personalised attention and support for every individual.

The newly renovated facility in George Central has been equipped with modern technology and staffed by qualified healthcare professionals committed to providing thorough, personalised care.
