BUSINESS NEWS - A legal liability workshop for employers will be presented in George on Thursday 12 June under the auspices of the George Business Chamber, in collaboration with Safety Solutions Africa, Mooi Rivier Makelaars, the Department of Labour, Roos Inc and the Avoda Institute of Entrepreneurship.
"This partnership brings forth an essential event aimed at informing and assisting companies in achieving compliance while highlighting the benefits of being compliant," says Irene Koegelenberg, chamber manager.
The workshop is in response to the tragic 2024 building collapse in Victoria Street. "The event will raise awareness and provide vital information to safeguard our workforce and businessowners. Specialists in their respective fields will lead the workshop, ensuring that attendees receive top-notch guidance on legal liability matters," says Koegelenberg.
The training course is particularly important for businessowners, managers and CEOs who are responsible for maintaining compliance within their organisations.
Speakers from Roos Inc, Mooi Rivier Makelaars, the Department of Labour, Avoda and other esteemed organisations will share their expertise throughout the day.
The workshop will take place at The Apprentice from 09:00 to 12:00. Canapés and drinks will be supplied during the event.
Only 30 tickets are available at R300 each. RSVP before 1 June.
