BUSINESS NEWS - Eden Aluminium has been voted the Best Aluminium Installer in the Best of George Readers’ Choice Awards 2025!

As one of the Western Cape’s leading manufacturers of aluminium and glass products, Eden Aluminium delivers the best possible products and services to its clients.

Founders Hendrik and Linda Aucamp have been in George and the glass industry since 1991. They owned PG Glass in George, Knysna and Plett, and started Eden Aluminium around 2013. “The goal has always been to deliver quality products at an affordable price and dedicated service to our clients in George and most parts of the Garden Route,” they say.

What we do
Eden Aluminium manufactures and installs windows and doors, custom-made to your specifications. “We primarily serve as subcontractors to construction companies, but also supply to the residential and commercial markets working directly for the client.”

While Eden Aluminium mainly operates in George, its service extends to most parts of the Garden Route.

Eden Aluminium is registered as a member of AAMSA and SAGGA and its main products are tested for compliance. “We cover projects of every size, from enclosing a patio to industrial-size buildings. We love and specialise in high-end projects. We have a 1 200m² warehouse equipped with specialised German machinery, and a staff complement of 50.

“With the continued dedication of both the management team and the loyalty of our staff, we have established an excellent working relationship with our customers, which has resulted in most of our business coming from either repeat customers or recommendations. New developments
As part of keeping its offering fresh and up to date, Eden Aluminium has made a few improvements over the past year.

Those who miss us driving around needn't worry - Eden Aluminium has changed the branding on all its vehicles. It has also expanded its fleet. Once you know what to look for, you'll see them everywhere!

Its German machinery collection has been expanded with a second CNC machine for perfect drilling and milling of window and door profiles. The show room has also had a face-lift to accommodate different high-end European systems.

The staff
Hendrik has worked in the building and construction industry for over 40 years. He runs and oversees all operations and projects while Linda takes care of the finances.

Leroy, with more than 20 years experience in aluminium, Jan, and Dewald act as Hendrik’s deputies, covering a large part of the Garden Route.

Monica, Lana and Louise are responsible for quotes, orders, stock and payments. Expect to talk to one of them when you phone the office.
