After 26 years of growing plants, 2026 has been a challenge for the George gardening community, including us.
Together we braved extreme weather - from drought to winds, storms and floods - but we are now smiling and our hearts are overflowing as our dams are also overflowing with water!
Norga is a family-owned business, with 83-year-old Hennie Koch, Morne Lochner, and Alet Koch-Lochner at the helm. Last year, Hendrik Jnr joined the business, opening Grace & Grind coffee shop. It provides the best coffee and cake and our customers have been begging us for more! G&G is also nominated for Best Coffee Shop in George!
At Norga, there’s always something new brewing, the latest being the launch of a brand-new indoor area for Grace & Grind. Now customers can always sit and enjoy their coffee, whether it’s sunny, windy or rainy!
Norga has always been known for our wide variety, good quality plants at wholesale prices that we grow ourselves, our free garden talks, our friendly salesladies and owner Morne, who is always nearby for good, practical advice.
