BUSINESS NEWS - Grace & Grind Coffee Shop, a hidden gem nestled at Norgarivier Nursery, has just celebrated its first birthday. Here, the passionate 21-year-old barista Hendrik Lochner, together with barista Caitlyn-lee Lotter, is brewing up a new, trendy coffee storm in George!
“I’m so excited to be blessed with this nomination and want to thank all my regular customers and the Lord for his provision and guidance in my life and shop,” says Hendrik.
G&G is known for its great coffee, excellent baristas, wide coffee and beverage menu, homemade cakes, the best carrot cake in town, and of course, its famous in-house killer lemon meringue pie.
The gorgeous outdoor seating overlooking the nursery has just been revamped to include an indoor seating area, making G&G a perfect setting for a sunny or rainy day.
“‘You anoint my head with oil, my cup overflows’ (Psalm 23), was the scripture the Lord put on my heart when I started G&G and it forms part of my personal testimony,” says Hendrik.
“G&G is more than a coffee shop to me. It’s a place where the Lord has placed me to serve others and to share my testimony.
