Update
GEORGE NEWS - George Municipality teams are on-site where they have removed an obstruction and repaired a leak in the supply line.
Acoustic equipment has been used to locate possible obstructions within the Oubaai/Airport pipeline.
The investigation has not yet been successful and continues this afternoon.
Status update
- Herold’s Bay has water supply, albeit at low pressure.
- Oubaai and Breakwater Bay remain without water supply.
A water tanker remains stationed at the Oubaai / Breakwater Bay entrance.
George Municipality apologises for the inconvenience caused.
