GEORGE NEWS - The landfill site has been temporarily closed due to adverse weather conditions.
Recent rainfall has resulted in wet and slippery conditions on the access road, creating a safety risk for vehicles and pedestrians using the facility.
The site will reopen as soon as conditions improve and it is safe to do so.
"We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your patience and understanding."
