GEORGE NEWS - The landfill site has reopened and is operational again following a temporary closure earlier today.
The temporary closure was necessary as the site had reached capacity and was experiencing technical issues.
Municipal teams worked to address the technical issues to allow operations to resume safely.
The landfill site is now open and residents and businesses may resume normal disposal activities.
