GEORGE NEWS - George Municipality’s electrical teams are responding to several power outages affecting parts of George.
The Municipality is aware of the urgent need to restore the electricity supply and is doing everything possible to attend to the outages. Teams are actively responding to all reported faults, and residents are kindly requested to remain patient.
The 66kV Glenwood substation, as well as Eskom’s supply in Wilderness, remains offline.
High-voltage power outages (major electricity faults affecting larger areas) are currently affecting the following areas:
