GEORGE NEWS - The George Municipality has announced that a section of the N2 between the Pacaltsdorp Bridge and Eden Place (formerly Rademacher’s) will be temporarily closed on the night of Tuesday, 8 July, to allow for critical electrical work.
The closure is necessary to lower and relocate overhead electrical lines across the N2, ensuring the safety of workers and road users.
The scheduled shutdown period will take place on: Tuesday 8 July from 22:00 to 04:00 the following morning.
Should poor weather or unforeseen circumstances delay the work, an alternative date of Wednesday, 9 July from 22:00 to 04:00 has been set aside.
