GEORGE NEWS - The Christelle Smit Dance Studio, who staged the very successful dance production Off Axis -Dance De Arte, will be bringing Life - the greatest show to the Oakhurst Insurance George Arts Theatre in September.
Life - the greatest show, a vibrant dance production with spectacular costumes, electric choreography and dynamic dancing, will be staged from 19 to 22 September.
The show opens with spectacular visuals and introduces the cast to the audience in a truly innovative way.
The principal, Christelle Smit, said, "You will be taken on a journey through the thrilling, passionate world of dance. This collage of dance masterly weaves together the various dance genres - modern, jazz, contemporary, tap and Hip Hop - with blockbusting power, precision, excitement as well as passion."
CSDS performs at many platforms in George, constantly reaching out to new audiences to share their creative insights. "The cast's vitality and sheer energy affirm their love of dance," says Smit.
"With each multi-talented dancer bringing something different to each performance, an eclectic individualism is achieved. The constant intensity of the dancers in their performances and interaction with each other, displays an extremely energetic, intricate style of strength and endurance."
Various dance genres, modern, jazz, contemporary, tap and hip-hop is brought to the stage with blockbusting power, precision, excitement and passion.

Christelle Smit's artistic direction and choreography places emphasis on highly technical and explosive body movements. It remains innovative and varying, rather than resorting to familiar movement phases or current trends of contemporary dance.
