Ventriloquist Conrad Koch’s Chester’s Got Talent at the George Arts Theatre (19:30). Can you imagine a talent show just for puppets? The stakes are high as internationally acclaimed South African ventriloquist Conrad Koch wants his puppets to compete to be the very best, but that pariah, Chester Missing, never does what he is told. A hilarious night out for the whole family. Directed by Christo Davids. Tickets are R150 on Webtickets.

Following a sold-out July performance, Selim Kagee's Il Mondo returns to the George Arts Theatre at 16:00. A heartfelt musical journey through timeless love songs, cinematic ballads and personal stories, performed by acclaimed vocalist Selim Kagee. Featuring classics such as "Il Mondo", "And I Love You So", "Bridge Over Troubled Water" and "Always on My Mind", the show combines his signature semi-operatic voice with emotion, nostalgia and charm. Guests are encouraged to dress in sophisticated formal or smart attire. Tickets are R300 on Quicket. No under 13s.
15 August: Following a sold-out July performance, Selim Kagee's Il Mondo returns to the George Arts Theatre at 16:00.

Fierce Hope. Quiet Courage. The Stories We Sing at the Market Community Theatre (14:00). A unique theatrical experience where songs become stories and stories becomes songs. Through music by Miriam Makeba, Alessia Cara and Andra Day, three women share seven deeply human stories of survival, hope, healing, laughter and courage. Tickets from R100 to R120 at Webtickets.
21 August:
Change The World, a dance production presented by Melissa Page School of Dance (15:00) at the George Arts Theatre. The dancers will perform in various styles, including Modern Dance, Tap Dance, and Hip-Hop Dance. The cast of dancers - from the age of 6 to 25 - believe that that in a world of challenges, we choose hope. Through dance, through music - together we can change the world.

23 August:
Four hands, one piano with Albie van Schalkwyk and Francois du Toit (15:30) at the George Arts Theatre. Two of the most celebrated pianists in South Africa will join forces and perform famous compositions by Schubert, Brahms, Faure and also Arnold van Wyk, one of South Africa's most important composers.
This will be a unique concert specially organised by the George Music Society and the pianists for the music lovers of George. Tickets are available at Webtickets: R190 (public), R50 (learners) and R150 (members).
