GEORGE NEWS - The body of an unidentified coloured woman believed to be in her late 40s or early 50s was discovered on Wednesday 28 November by children playing next to the railway line near Herculus Street in Parkdene.
The woman was found lying face down in the river next to the tracks.
She has short hair and was dressed in brown tights. A black jacket, believed to be that of the deceased, was found in the river close by.
No one fitting the description has been reported as missing. Anyone with information is asked to contact Sergeant Petrus Faniso on 044 803 3302.
