Taxi protest update

GEORGE NEWS - The anti-GO GEORGE march has resumed after protesters stopped in front of the police station in Courtenay Street for a while.

They are now on their way to the Department of Transport in Rensburg Hof, next to Steers.

Many more have joined the march.

Motorists are urged to avoid Courtenay Street, between the circle and the Wellington Street intersection.
