Die Protea-rolbalspeler Elma Davis en Jovan Rebula, een van Suid-Afrika se opwindendste jong gholfspelers, is Vrydagaand by die Eden-sportraad se jaarlikse sporttoekennings onderskeidelik as sportvrou en sportman van die jaar aangewys. Meer as 300 uitgelese gaste het die glansgeleentheid in die George-burgersentrum bygewoon waar die toppresteerders uit die 191 genomineerdes vereer is.
