Nolene van Rensburg, 'n leerder by het Saterdagoggend die 10 km-stap vir ope-vroue op Groot-Brakrivier in 'n blitstyd van (57:26) gewen. Van Rensburg, wat by die SA junior en jeugkampioenskappe in Germiston 'n vierde plek behaal het, het Saterdag in die kleure van Grasshopper Outeniqua Harriers-atletiekklub deelgeneem. Haar spanmaat, Moné Geldenhuys (58:23) was tweede oor die wenstreep.
