Children from all ages entering the Rosemoor sports fields on Youth Day, last Friday 16 June, got a surprise when they were splashed with paint. The paint splash created a cheerful atmosphere among guests and symbolised the youth running into their bright future. The event was held by George Municipality and started with a march from Rosemoor Community Hall, with the youth presenting street dramas along the way. Learners from Imizamo Yethu High School performed Sarafina at the Rosemoor cemetery along Langmark Street where some of the struggle veterans were buried. The Imizamo Yethu High School Choir delivered a powerful rendition of the national anthem.
