George
The new George branch of the SA Revenue Services (Sars) is leading the way in the country with some of its features that will form a template of how Sars will interact with taxpayers in the future. This is according to Sars Commissioner Tom Moyane who was in George on Friday 28 October to officially open the office near the Garden Route Mall. More than 36 000 taxpayers have been served here since it became operational on 27 June after relocating from the CBD. It is headed up by Tabita Ndima.
