George Heritage Festival: George has Talent competition
George is abounding with talented dancers, vocalists, musicians and entertainers who can compete with the rest of the country's top performers. In the George Has Talent competition, Jonty Hendrix (22), claimed his R10 000 cash prize at a gala evening held on 6 October in the Conville Civic Centre. The enthusiastic audience and judges agreed the 25 contestants were exceptional. The dancers performed amazing and original choreography; young bright musicians; young vocalists with rich rounded voices were good and well able to compete against more seasoned performers.
