George Museum – heritage hunt Although billed as ‘a trail of heritage places – not a race’ teams of between 4 and 8 participants from Thembalethu High, Olympia School, South Cape College, NMMU and members of the Outeniqua Historical Society were seen whizzing across the top of York Street, this morning, Heritage Day. The teams were looking for the George Heritage Trust’s grey boards that are affixed to historical buildings for clues and answers to the questions on their Heritage Day Hunt questionnaire page. First team back with all the correct answer would be declared the winner.
