Parents, educators and children attended the fourth George Educational Expo on Saturday 11 October at the George Civic Centre. Over 40 distributors from across the country showcased their educational products. Visitors had access to a variety of educational toys and activities for preschoolers, books, DVDs and programs for use in classrooms and at home. Talks were held in the auditorium, hosted by Martie du Plessis of Dynamis Learning and Leendert van Oostrum of the Pestalozzi Trust. Another highlight at the expo was a Young Entrepeneurs Market, which provided children - from as young as six years old - the opportunity to sell their wares.
