10-jarige byna 'n groot kokkedoor
'n 10-jarige meisie met 'n liefde vir kook het haar ouers en skoolmaats van Laerskool George-Suid verbaas toe sy so byna as een van 10 jongelinge landswyd vir die kykNET-kookprogram, Kokkedoortjie, gekies is. Charlotte du Plessis was nege jaar oud toe sy vir die kompetisie ingeskryf het. Sy het uiteindelik deurgedring tot die finale ronde as een van 30 kinders (tussen die ouderdom van 9 en 13) uit 'n totaal van sowat 1 000 landswye inskrywings.
