Rooirivierrif culvert repaired
George Municipal Civil Engineering Department has last week completed repair work on the Rooirrivierrif culvert which runs below Plattner Boulevard at a cost of R3.9 million. The two side-by-side corrugated metal pipe arch culverts have been severely damaged over the past few years through regular flooding with scouring damage and corrosion of the metal plates observed.
