GEORGE NEWS - The carcass of a Bryde's whale washed up on Kleinkrantz beach this morning.
Stranded Marine Animal Rescue Team (Smart) members are currently on scene taking measurements and photos to be sent away for further research.

They were called out at around 11:30 this morning.
According to Kelly-Jane Arthur, a Smart volunteer, it is a sub-adult whale of about 12m long.
The cause of death is unknown at this stage.
