GEORGE NEWSFLASH - Unsolved murders in Thembalethu are piling up with police asking the public’s help with two more incidents.
The bodies of two residents, a female and a male, were both found on Saturday 29 July in different areas in Thembalethu.
Gladys Jantjies’s body was found on the bank of a river near Matrose Street in Zone 2. She had seven stab wounds to her upper body. The reason for the killing is not known and no suspects have been arrested.
Mpumelelo Masala’s body was found in front of his house in Mfanyana Street in Zone 9. He had been stabbed with a sharp object. No suspects have been arrested and the motive of his murder is unknown.
The police urge the community to help with information that can lead to arrests.
