Aston Martin breaks auction record
An ultra-rare Aston Martin is now the most expensive British car ever sold at auction, fetching R161-million. By current exchange rates, in 1962 the DB4/GT Zagato would have cost R93 202. It was recently sold for R161,44-million at RM Sotheby's "Driven by Disruption" event in New York.
