GARDEN ROUTE NEWS - The 5th annual Junior Classic Surfing competition will take place this coming weekend at the Point in Mossel Bay.
With new sponsorship the event will be the Importers Coffee Junior Classic and will start at 12:00 on Saturday 12 October with the Semi-finals and finals taking place on Sunday starting again at 08:00.
The event is for boys and girl u/12, u/14 and u/16 and form part of the surfing events calendar of Surfing South Africa.
This is a free A-rated competition with lots of prize money. The expectation is that there will be 46 competitors competing in this event. Surfers must be members of the 2019 Surf tour (SAST) in order to compete.
