WATER SPORT NEWS - The 2018 Mountain West Conference Swimming and Diving Championships began today at the Palo Alto College Aquatic Center. Nevada’s Sharae Zheng, who was named the NCAA Diver of the Year in 2016, dominated the 1-meter diving event to highlight the first day of competition.
After the first three events, San Diego and Nevada are tied for first place with 189 points. Wyoming is in third with 161 points followed by Boise State (135), New Mexico (128), San Jose State (119), UNLV (115), Fresno State (106), Air Force (98) and Colorado State (98).

Woman's 4X50 Medley Relay
The first event of the Mountain West Championships proved to be a close one. Boise State’s Allyson Kleinsorgen (24.52), Robin Pinger (27.77), Emmie Jennings (23.95) and Abbey Sorensen (21.99) won the event in 1:38.23.
