GEORGE NEWS - Let's Go Fishing (LGF) Garden Route is planning a fun-filled day for the family at Fairy Knowe Hotel in Wilderness. 

The event will take place on Father's Day, Sunday 17 June.

"We are proud to present our very first fundraiser for less privileged children in our community and ask the community for their support," said LGF chairperson, Jean Nysschen. George ACVV will benefit from this particular fundraiser. 

A flea market, beer tent, jumping castles, potjiekos competition, white elephant sale and auction, and bait and tackle presentations will add to a festive experience.

The lucky winners of a raffle competition will win a weekend for two at the Fairy Knowe Hotel and a deep sea fishing trip for one in Mossel Bay.
