The team won 4 out of 5 games and drew the other. They scored 16 goals and only 2 goals were scored against them. The team’s new kit was sponsored by George Herald.
The Herold’s Bay Hotel had to step in at the last minute to accommodate the team after their accommodation fell flat. The team thanked all the organisers for doing a ‘fantastic job’.
"Feedback from outsiders was that they would like the tournament to be held in George every year," said a spokesperson of the team.
