GEORGE BOWLING NEWS - Russell Rich Foods turned on the heat to overwhelm the sponsors, Lew Geffen Sotheby's International Realty, in the final of the Spring Business Bowling Challenge at the George Bowling Club.
John Dory's also produced some top-class bowling, securing the runner-up position by defeating Stadler and Swart Attorneys.
In the plate division the final was closely contested, with Mazars Blue eventually the winners against a spirited Supporters Team.
Seamans Renault sponsored the "melktertjies for touchers" and the bar sponsor, South Cape Distributors, ensured that each and every player received a prize after the final.
There was a festive atmosphere at the prize-giving and most of the players enjoyed a complimentary steak braai and live music afterwards. The Lew Geffen Sotheby's International Realty Summer League will resume in February / March 2020 and the organisers are looking forward to welcoming back all the teams that took part this year.
