GEORGE NEWS - Eden Modern Pentathlon Association (MPA) athletes achieved remarkable results during the South African Championships in East London over the long weekend on 9 and 10 August.

The Eden district, as part of the Western Cape Province, contributed towards the Western Cape province's overall success as the best province in the country for the following categories: Triathle Juniors and Seniors; Triathle Overall Best Province; Biathle Juniors and Seniors; Biathle Overall Best Province. 

Eden MPA athletes who made the qualifying standard may represent South Africa during the 2024 UIPM Biathle and Triathle World Championships in Egypt on 10 to 13 October.
