The camp, the third of its kind, started on Friday with a two hour training session during sunset, working on basic techniques and fighting combinations. The Saturday started at 04:15 with a run on the beach, some stretching and fitness training at sunrise.
After breakfast the randori (sparring) training started and ended on a high note with 50 rounds of one minute sparring sessions. The Saturday concluded with a written exam, testing the students' knowledge about Goju Ryu Karate-do.
Sunday morning started at 04:15 again with another sunrise-fitness session. The camp concluded with a demonstration where each team showed its understanding of kata and bunkai using everyday objects.
