NETBALL NEWS - The Van Riebeeck Stadium Netball Courts in Mossel Bay came alive on Saturday 6 September as the Eden Netball Federation Play-offs brought together the district’s finest talent for a day of high-intensity action and community spirit.
Clubs from across the Eden region descended on this coastal town where the supporters lined the courts and cheered loudly for their favourites.
These play-offs are one of the highlights on the Eden Netball calendar and showcased some top-class performances.
Finals in sight
Netball fans now turn their attention to the much-anticipated finals, set for Saturday 20 September, again at the Van Riebeeck Stadium. Matches begin at 13:00, with divisions across the board competing for gold, silver and bronze.
The Eden Netball Federation has invited the public to come out in full support of their local teams. With the region’s best players battling it out for championship glory, the finals promise not only thrilling contests on court, but also a festive atmosphere celebrating community sport at its best.
