SPORT NEWS - The Interprovincial U11 Squash Tour-nament (IPT), hosted by Eden from 27 to 30 June, brought some of South Africa's top young squash talent to George and Mossel Bay.
A total of 72 players from across the country competed over four days. In the boys' division, Eastern Province A claimed the title, followed by Northerns Junior Squash Association in second place and Western Province in third.
In the girls' competition, Northerns Junior Squash Association A emerged victorious, with the Invitational Team finishing second and Northerns Junior Squash Association B taking third place.

One of the tournament's court marshals, Johnny Munro, said even more exciting squash action is imminent. Eden will host the 66th Jarvis/Kaplan Cup Interprovincial Squash Tournament from 5 to 10 July - the first time the prestigious event will be held in the region.
Matches will be played in Mossel Bay, Great Brak River and George, with a newly erected all-glass show court at the Mossel Bay Town Hall serving as one of the tournament's highlights.
More than 200 players - including teams from Zimbabwe and Namibia - are expected to compete, and spectators are invited to attend free of charge.
