More than 40 students from the academy attended the examination held at Ubuntu Lodge near Sedgefield.
Karateka from the George dojo fared well and received their next kyu grades with flying colours.
According to sensei Wessel Wilms (4th dan) these tests are important for students, parents, and instructors, to see the progress and change that happens both physically and mentaly as each karateka climbs the ladder towards black belt and with sensei Elrié Bosman (3rd dan) as an example, more and more female students of all ages are becoming part of this family of warriors.
