GEORGE NEWS - The George Business Chamber held another successful corporate golf day at the Outeniqua Course at Fancourt on 8 September with a shotgun start, wonderful George sunshine and 21 corporate teams that competed on the day.
Outeniqua High School scooped the GBC Corporate Cup Trophy, followed by Daisy Business Solutions in second place and Rauch Gertenbach in third place.
The George Business Chamber thanked the sponsors, headline sponsor Metrowatt, media sponsor George Herald and event specialists Tada Promotions.
The three-course dinner followed with guest speaker Erica Terblanche, author of Run For the Love of Life, who captured the audience at the prize-giving.
Terblanche is a business strategist, endurance athlete, positive psychologist and writer that people can relate to - and who can lift and carry them on a wave of inspiration.
She is one of South Africa's most formidable endurance athletes. As an adventure racer, she raced for South Africa's unbeaten Team Cyanosis and represented South Africa in the Adventure Racing World Championships in New Zealand.
