GEORGE FOOTBALL NEWS - Four young stars from George were part of a Western Cape team that won bronze at the national Indigenous Games held in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal, from 25 to 27 September.
The players from George are twins Anam and Unam Cube, Akhona Qumza and Bongani Madikane.
Western Cape earned bragging rights by winning bronze.
The team that represented the Western Cape are, from left: Bongani Madikane, Anam Cube, Moloto Phokeng (Paarl), Unam Cube, Thando Ngese (coach), Ntandazo Sangwe (Overberg), Akhona Qumza, Abenathi Ntelezi (Cape Town) and Loyiso Casiwe (Cape Town).
