REGIONAL NEWS - Good news for local soccer supporters who have faced a three-month drought: the Safa Eden Hollywoodbets Regional League kicks off this coming weekend.

Three teams, La Liga (Knysna), Kabo Yellow (Plettenberg Bay) and Fast Eleven from George, gained promotion to the elite Safa Eden Regional League for the 2024/25 season.

The Safa HollywoodBets Regional League teams for the 2024/25 season are:

Bitou Young Pirates (Plettenberg Bay), Kabo Yellow (Plettenberg Bay), Black Cats (George), Simunye (George), Fast Eleven (George), Madibaz Football (George), FC United (Knysna), Red Eagles (Knysna), FC Rebels (Knysna), Voota FC (Knysna), La Liga (Knysna), Smuts United (Knysna), Moonlight (Dysseldorp), Peace Makers (Mossel Bay), Benfica (Mossel Bay) and Sea Birds (Mossel Bay).
