SOCCER NEWS - After gaining promotion to the regional league, the Phelandaba-based Paris United has been a formidable competitor in the Safa Eden Regional League.

For the past few seasons, the team have made their mark by achieving positive results in every fixture they've been playing.

The kings of diski

In the recent 2024/25 season, Paris United won the Geolfa League title and was promoted to the Safa Eden division. 

Not only did they earn a respectable runner-up position in this year's Easter Soccer Tournament, but they were also the champions of the Heritage Tournament, won third place in Sedgefield's Bonganu Dyani Soccer Tournament and were crowned as the kings of diski in the Future Stars Soccer Tournament a few days ago.

Shaping the future

Paris United's head coach, Lusanda Nkwateni, said they are on the right path, shaping the future of the team and changing lives through sport.

He said it is a great feeling to see the team progressing to the next stage of football life - thanks to the management who work hard to get everything right.

He thanked their supporters in Thembalethu for attending their games.
