This comes after Blanckensee announced on Monday at the PSL headquarters that Abraw was registered by Kaizer Chiefs, even though there is still an ongoing case surrounding his contract.

Tshabalala said that Celtic was not formally informed of any developments in the Abraw case by the PSL. “As a club, we haven’t received any formal communication from the League as yet. The DRC recommended that the PSL check whether Chiefs was right to sign the player considering that he had signed a pre-contract with Celtic,” said Tshabalala.
