CRICKET NEWS – Two players from the Garden Route Badgers Women's team have been called up to the 17-player Proteas Women's squad for the T20 International Tri-Series against India and the West Indies, which is taking place from 19 January to 2 February.
Tazmin Brits will enjoy a return to the setup, while young Annerie Dercksen will make her first appearance in the Proteas Women's setup.
The Proteas Women will be using this inbound series to finalise their preparations before playing host to the exciting ICC Women's T20 World Cup, which kicks off on 10 February with a match against Sri Lanka at the Newlands Cricket Ground in Cape Town.
