GEORGE CRICKET NEWS - The SWD Cricket Twenty20 League will kick off this weekend. The 32 affiliated clubs are divided into eight pools of four teams each. Within each pool, teams will play each other on a round-robin format. The respective pool winners will advance to the quarter finals.

The semi-finals and final for this league will be contested on 26 October. The SWD league winner, together with the winners from Boland and Western Province, will play in a qualifying round to determine the Western Cape representative to advance to the Multiply National Club Championships.
