CRICKET NEWS - Sussex and Pacaltsdorp United strengthened their position on the SWD Cricket Premier League log with bonus point victories last weekend.
At home, Pacaltsdorp United (104/6) surpassed a modest target in the 31st over to defeat the Harlequins Forces (103 all out) by four wickets.
For Pacaltsdorp, Ricardo Majolla (3/9), Ducayne Plaatjies (3/35) and Anaxolo Khitshini (3/41) each bagged three wickets.
Sussex (235/8) defeated the Knysna Cavaliers (150 all out) by 85 runs at D’Almeida and is still topping the log, while George (181 all out) won by 29 runs against New Dawn Park (152 all out).
Neil Jordan (26 with the bat) and (3/37 with the ball) were the heroes for George.
