CRICKET NEWS - After a promising start in the Hollywoodbets Pro 50 series against the Western Province, Zintle Kula and her Garden Route Badgers women’s team will be on a mission to Durban this week.

The Badgers Women stunned the Western Province in their opening match two weeks ago with a bonus-point victory, but things will not be getting easier as they take on the Dolphins at Kingsmead in Durban this weekend. 

The Badgers have lost the Pro 20 match and the Dolphins have mixed fortunes with one win and one loss in their opening round of matches.

Except for Lucien Swartz (injury), all players should be fit and ready for the challenging trip to the east coast.

The Badgers squad for the weekend are:

Zintle Kula (captain), Julia Hoal, Palesa Maphoo, Nadine Moodley, Izel Cilliers, Nicolien Janse van Rensburg, Mieke de Ridder, Yolandi Potgieter, Gizelle Abrahams, Khayakze Mathe, Anica Swart, Tiché Frans and Kiara Fisher.
