GEORGE NEWS - Some excellent results were achieved by the Outeniqua Harriers’ runners at the 2010 Comrades Marathon at the weekend.
Jacques Mouton achieved the coveted silver medal in a time of 07:21:32.
There were seven Bill Rowen medals (sub 9 hours), the best of these going to Helga Matthee in a time of 07:55:03.
The others were André Barnado 08:25:28; Prieur du Plessis 08:52:20; Gareth Griffiths 08:58:02; Hermanus Jonkerman 08:29:30; Alison Jordaan 08:19:24; and Suzaan Kruger 08:52:20.
Saundria Visser completed her first ever Comrades in 11:12:14 as an (almost) grandmaster.
