GEORGE NEWS - It's all systems go for the George parkrun's relaunch on Saturday 13 November.
"There has been a large interest shown by the public to get going and we had a huge positive response to our plea for volunteers," said George parkrun liaison officer Wayne Ryder.
"A big thank you to all those people who have volunteered their services over the last few weeks. After 18 months, our parkrun is finally ready to roll again through the beautiful fern forest and botanical garden set at the foot of the majestic Outeniqua Mountains.
"Please bring along your whole family and friends and enjoy our fun-filled 5km trail-route through the forest. Participants can walk or run at their own pace."
The newly adjusted 5km course.
Covid regulations will be strictly adhered to and the volunteers are all geared to help with the much-needed administration of the popular community event.

No vaccination certificates are required and masks only need to be worn at the entrance gate and at the starting point.
