GEORGE NEWS - Entries for the eagerly anticipated Montagu Pass Run close tonight at 18:00, so don’t miss your chance to be part of this spectacular community event on Saturday 1 November.
Hosted by Herold Primary School, the event offers two scenic trail distances of 10km and 17km, both starting and finishing at the school.
The run doubles as a fundraiser for the school and promises a day of fitness, fun and family time in one of the most picturesque parts of the Garden Route.
Late entries will be accepted on Saturday morning from 06:00 at the school, with registration running from 06:00 to 07:00. The 17km race sets off at 07:30, followed by the 10km at 08:00.
Families can look forward to a festive atmosphere with kids’ supervision available while parents take on the mountain.
There will be food and coffee stalls, cakes and tarts, Herold’s famous hamburgers and boerewors rolls, and plenty of treats for the little ones including soft serve, candyfloss, jumping castles, tractor and wagon rides, donkey carts and cycling routes.
